Curriculum Design
Curriculums are developed for use in schools for teachers and parents, for psychoeducational or therapeutic groups at community based organizations, and for professionals in healthcare or legal settings and can be tailored as needed.
Child Development
A 6-hour curriculum that explains the development of children from a psychosocial perspective. The series covers brain development, psychosocial stages of behavior, developmental stages and how to identify red flags, expectation management, and how to work with children at different ages.
Positive parenting
An 8-hour curriculum that begins with an assessment of each individual’s parenting style, factors that may influence it, the needs of every child, and specific strategies addressing common challenges including discipline, eating and sleeping habits, technology use, and sibling dynamics.
hEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS
A 4-hour curriculum that touches upon boundary setting, consent and respect. The activities for this curriculum can be tailored according to the age/grade of the children/teens. An additional curriculum for grown-ups i.e. teachers, counselors or parents, can be provided to help guide the children alongside.
Trauma-Informed care
A 3-hour curriculum geared towards healthcare professionals working with survivors of violence or for attorneys who serve victims of abuse. It explains the neurobiological response to trauma, addresses its acute and long-term impact, and discusses recommended trauma-informed techniques to utilize with clients/patients.
